MySlovensko is aware that its visitors who visit the MySlovensko website value their privacy. This document (Privacy Policy) contains important information regarding the processing of personal data by our company.
My Slovakia therefore takes the liberty of informing you about the principles and procedures for the processing of personal data, which is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the "General Data Protection Regulation").

What data we process, legal basis, purposes and processing periods
For the purpose of direct marketing in the form of sending newsletters and targeted offers and announcements, we process your personal data in the scope of name, surname, email address and telephone number. The legal basis for the processing is consent, until the consent is withdrawn. The legal basis may be the legitimate interest of the controller in sending electronic communications to persons who have purchased similar goods of the controller in accordance with Article 47 of the Preamble to the General Data Protection Regulation and Section 62(3) of the Electronic Communications Act for a period of 5 years, but no longer than until the data subject has lodged any objection to the direct marketing. If you exercise any of the data subject's rights during the processing of the personal data, we may also process the personal data for the purposes of fulfilling a legal obligation to comply with a request under the
Regulation and for the purposes of the controller's legitimate interest in exercising, proving and defending legal claims, for a period of no more than 4 years from the termination of the other legal basis for the processing of the personal data.
Objection
If we process the data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to the processing of this personal data at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object by email to [email protected] or by sending a notice by post to the Company. Unsubscribing from the newsletter by clicking "unsubscribe" or "unsubscribe" in any email is also deemed to be an objection under Article 21(2) of the General Data Protection Regulation where the legal basis for the processing is legitimate interest.
Your other rights
You have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data. If the data is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. If it is incomplete, you have the right to complete it. You have the right to restrict processing in cases specified by law, for example pending rectification or during an objection procedure. You have the right to erasure, unless this right is restricted by law. You can exercise your rights by emailing to [email protected] or by sending a notice by post to the Company's address. We are entitled to verify your identity when you exercise your rights.
